Total spore opens its doors

Welcome one, welcome all - to Total Spore. My name is Kyle Neath and I’ll be the guy running the shots around here for now. I created this web site because of one simple reason: I know that spore will be the greatest game human kind has seen so far. A little while ago I didn’t even know what Spore was, I had never heard of it - never really cared to look into it. Then I watched this video and just keep getting blown away. By the end of it I was certain I’d be addicted to this game, no questions asked. A few days later I was still reeling over the video having watched it several times over: I was now absolutely certain this game would rule my life for several months after its release.

Gaming Steve released a new podcast (mp3) talking about the new stuff unveiled during GDC about Spore. Unfortunately, the news is no news until E3 - just about what we’ve expected :-) Some interesting insights into Spore’s development stage though.

Countdown to Spore

Spore is one of the most epic games to ever hit the market. At GDC '05 we saw our first glimpse of Spore and have been eagerly waiting in anticipation since. The current estimated actual release date is September 7, 2008.
