First expansion pack: Creepy & Cute Parts
EA just announced that they’ll be shipping the first expansion pack to Spore soon — the Creepy & Cute Parts Pack. It will include over 100 new parts for you to add onto your creature. I’m pretty amazed at how fast EA has done this — Spore’s hardly been out for more than a month! It makes me wonder what they’ve got in store for the holidays!

I was wondering when they’d make a package of new parts and stuff, but I didn’t know it’d be so soon.

haha! dont be suprised at how fast it came out, they have had these extentions all along but they release it in drips & drops so you have to pay over & over for what you could have easily had in teh first package.
I think a little less greed & a little more content would have been appropriate in the first place.
Poor strategy maxis, but i guess they think if sony or apple does it, then its ok for them (i refer to the rediculous abount of periferals one needs to buy for various products from these 2 money hungry companies). TUTT TUTT!

thats called busines. if a company just gave away stuff how much money do you think they would make? how many people would be out of a job ? and how many more games do u think said company would make?

no doubt they made these parts as soon as they made the game, they’ve already paid all the designers they just wanted to get an extra $20 that’s really lame. . .
I’m going to buy it though, I want those parts
they are smart, spore is economics at it’s finest, make a new market, so sure, they buy spore they can survive w/o the expansion, but by and large, to keep going, you’ll need it, and every one after, hello market slaves, may I be one of you now?

please… There’s more than 2millions playing spore. They did pay the designers and had earn back more than they can chew. The numbers is growing everyday and you think they won’t survive??? I’m sure they have all the contents in the game but want I earn more extra money to keep in their pocktet.

finally, ive been waiting for them to expand, to bad its only in the creature stage. though i like how all of the parts are in a separate tab it’ll be great when i can look at the core spore then go trough the expansians

Im not surprised at all, im pretty sure they had this waiting till sales started to slow, plus they are doing what they did with the sims, here comes the ridiculous flow of expansions…
