Spore … on the iPhone?
That’s right folks — during Apple’s announcement about iPhone roadmap and enterprise features there was a glimpse of something completely unexpected. A couple of developers from EA had already put together part of Spore for the iPhone.
Can’t wait for the ultimate time waster!

Countdown to Spore
Spore is one of the most epic games to ever hit the market. At GDC '05 we saw our first glimpse of Spore and have been eagerly waiting in anticipation since. The current estimated actual release date is September 7, 2008.

Wow. This version looks really great, I was pretty impressed by the whole presentation of the iPhone apps, but the Spore one looks really fluid and the interface is smooth. Another reason to convince me to get an iPhone.

Yeah guys… it’s gonna have all the stages… it’s not like spore is a COMPUTER GAME. If the sims 2 isn’t even the same on gamecube as it is on the computer, don’t expect SPORE to be!

Aw man, I’m glad they’re trying to make whole new versions for everything else, that way the PC one doesn’t get slowed down by the consoles and handhelds (if the iPhone can be considered a handheld :D) . Good job for makin’ this work though!

wait, guys, you didn’t see this coming? I thought WW said that Spore was to be released on “mobile phones and stuff.” I don’t know too much about the iPhone, but wouldn’t it be included in that category?
