I’ve been a mod of a couple of other forums, and it was always something that I had fun doing, and was pretty good at. I’m 20 and go to college, so I’m off a couple of days during the week.

I’ve been a mod at a few forums (I don’t mean forums that I made, they had a few hundred users; 1 forum had 2000 about). I’m in 9th grade. I have a lot of spare time (especially during the summer), so I could help out, doing anything really :)

I just thought of an idea that would help us once the site gets bigger. Get one of those code pictures to make it harder for bots to get in.

Ive not been a Moderator before, but heh it can’t be that Hard. Ive known of spore since 2005 when the first 35 minute video was released and I have been hooked since, I know quite alot about the game considering its only been shown in pictures and we’ve just now seen some of the newest versions of the game. Just thought I’d give this a shot since Spore is going to be my main game when its released “Hopefully” September 2007.. And I would just like to be a part of the Spore World, since its going to be crazy when this game is released, so I would like to apply with you guys.

My first language is not English but I can understand it perfectly, in spite of the fact of that I am only fourteen years old since the twenty-third of March.
I´m Spanish and my parents aren´t English but after hard work and many hours reading English sites and forums I can speak English quite good, and I think I can demonstrate it in this post.
I have read all existent information about Spore and seen all videos about it, even conferences.
I think I can be a good moderator because I have a lot of spare time, I´m a nerd who lives in forums exclusively (xD) and, how Chris said, I really want to be part of Spore World.
I suppose you aren´t gonna choose me because English isn´t my fist language but I can insure you that I can speak it perfectly, and understand it better, and the main duty of a moderator is to read the forums searching for topics asking for things which are prohibited in the rules, and I think I can do it only reading it, and even this way I can reply to explain them the reason of the closing of his/her topic.

The next person to apply through a comment will NOT be a good moderator/contributor because they fail to read all comments and the full article posted in the first place.
So, it’s good to see people interested in this, I just hate to see so many people posting applications here and not in the actual application form…it’s a waist.

Lol, no offense to most of these guys but I like how they want to be mods yet none of them are on the forums frequently and usually mods are better when they are part of the community.

i no im not on the forums so i just wanted to say that i read alot abput the game and watched alot from what i can see is that u guys working on the game are doing pretty good and i like the idea and the concept but im pretty sure that u should no that im 12 but i have played alot i stratgy games and the one thing i was always hoping for was the custmization of ground base units not like tanks and vehicles but hte units i noticed in most of ur videos u no little civilions with guns that would make it kool and fun im not saying the games bad its great but i think im thinking for stratgy player when i say u need ground units maybe even custom ones thnx and hipe ur games a success

I think being a moderater would make a pleasent expeiriance for me, a helpful hand for you, and a awsome eperiance for these forums. I am moderators for two forums, one of witch is a gaming website. I don’t nececarly have ton of time on my hands but the time I do spend here will be well spent and affective. I am currently in Freshmen year of highschool and am making a 4.0. I started following spore a year ago when I heard about it from GDC and I have been hooked sence then. Anyway, I would be an excelent moderater for any forums but I will understand If I am not chosen.

Maybe if there was another mod chosen specificly fo the genreal chat section, only because it sees so many posts, and the odds of two people being on to catch stuff as soon or just after it is posted aren’t as big as might be preferable. I would suggest somone who maybe has some experience with managing forums/modding or writing articles, or who is always on.

hi i am interested in a position in moderator, or anything that can help, i am qualified, i am good with websites very helpful and am on mosr of the time. Right now i am currently working on a rough imitation of spore the first 3 stages of evolution. it will be in 3d and is about 20% finished and i hope i will finished in next 3 months

Well I’ve also been a forum mod on a few forums here and there and I happen to like this forum quite alot. :) If I can help in some way shape or form just send a email. :)
I’m decated to the things i sign up for, I have plunty of free time around the house lol, and just because I’m a new member here on the forum doesnt mean I’m lost on how a forum should be.
