Total Spore Summer Updates

What a week! Earlier this week Total Spore launched our creations gallery. In just 5 days we’ve seen a huge contribution from our members! Here’s some stats from the past five days:

• Over 100 creations submitted
• Over 350 drawings uploaded
• Over 250 comments
• Over 250 ratings

All I can say is: our community rocks! Thanks for making this such a success everyone. Remember, this is just the tip of the iceberg for what we’re ramping up Total Spore to be. Also remember that there’s still a whole week to submit your creations for our inaugural contest. The deadline is midnight PST this Saturday.

Game info finally updated

I’ll be the first to admit that Total Spore’s Game Information section has needed some love for a long time. Well the whole section has now been revamped, complete with updated screenshots from the latest build of Spore. The updates came with a large portion of help from ParachuteFish, Jdog2360 and sporegamer from the forums — thanks guys!

   PF is right. With all the new features, new ninfo, and news members this site is really going places. The new creation gallery is fantastic and and I can’t wait to see what else is in store.

   Great stuff. When the CC comes out I plan on going back and replacing my drawn pics with rendered ones from the creator.

   [b]actruncale[/b] I’ve actually already got a feature to upload screenshots (it’s disabled right now) so you’ll be able to see your creature from drawing -> screenshot -> youtube videos (from the creature creator)

    yeah, these days nearly no ones online and this has happened during my 40 post lifespan. i hope when the full game comes out people keep posting vehicles etc.
